therapy for the whole family
This isn’t your mother’s therapy couch. Our holistic approach means that each member of your family can get what they need to thrive. With wrap-around family support, our practice guides adults and children through the struggles resulting from grief, divorce, bullying, and other painful life experiences into the best version of themselves.
We have over 25 years of combined experience serving children and families in a variety of stressful life circumstances such as depression, anxiety, addiction, mood disorders, and trauma. We work to uncover the root causes of your struggles and heal them through a combination of talk therapy and other treatments such as play therapy, drama therapy, expressive arts, trauma treatment, brainspotting, couples therapy, and EMDR.

We provide in-person and telehealth psychotherapy for children, teens, adults and families who are experiencing difficulty with stress, life transitions such as divorce, depression, anxiety, ADHD, parenting, and trauma.
Each therapist and client work collaboratively to create a treatment plan based on the needs and goals of each person. With that plan, your therapist will tailor their skill base to fit your needs so you can experience deep healing that goes much further than traditional talk therapy alone.

FAQs
The length of time varies from client to client. We recommend weekly sessions for the first few months in order to build trust and begin working toward your goals. After your therapist and you agree that there have been a decrease in symptoms/issues a discussion is had regarding decreasing to biweekly sessions and eventually monthly maintenance sessions.
We tailor every treatment plan to the individual based on their needs. This is why we value being trained in many different modalities and utilizing a mix based on what would support the healing process for each individual. We are trained in Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapies, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing, EMDR, and Brainspotting. We provide support surrounding life transitions, mindful divorce support, parenting/co-parenting support, behavioral challenges, social skill building.

**You may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance company
We want to work with our clients, not their insurance provider, to determine the best plan of treatment for each individual. Participation with insurance requires that they are able to dictate length and frequency of treatment, mandated diagnosis, and even deny coverage which can leave clients with unexpected costs. This model allows clients to plan their treatment with their counselor based on their needs, rather than on a company’s bottom line.
You may be able to receive reimbursement for the cost of your sessions. We are considered an out-of-network provider with insurance companies. A superbill can be provided so you can submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement. Depending on your out-of-network coverage, your portion is oftentimes similar to a co-pay you would be paying with an in-network provider.
Appointments must be canceled within 24 hours. If an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full session fee.
Our practice is committed to inclusivity and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, disability, age (40 or older), or genetic information (including personal or family medical history).
